Overall Job Objective:

 

  • Support Marketing in framing and driving targeted marketing plan for specific products
  • Lead and manage product branding operations to ensure sales growth in specific products


Desired Skills-Set:

 

  • Market Understanding  - should have the ability to understand consumer insights, competitors, market share  and other critical business factors and leverage the same to exploit market branding opportunities
  • Business Analytics – should have the ability to make sense of market data and accordingly segment and position products in the market
  • Market Communication Expertise – should be able to communicate to target markets  well
  • Futuristic – should be able to anticipate the future needs of the consumer and advise product development departments and vertical heads to bring out innovative products
  • Passion for the industry – should be passionate about the job and the product
  • Team Player – must play a great team-member role and work collaboratively with marketing, brand advisers , sales teams and product development departments
  • Knowledge of the FMCG industry – should have 4-5 years hands on exposure to product branding operations in the FMCG space, specially in connection with marketing of food products
